You can install the MyAuthorSuite Chrome Extension by visiting the Chrome Web Store

installation. Currently, the extension is only available for Chrome, but we plan to
expand compatibility to Firefox and other browsers in the future if there's
sufficient demand.
For optimal performance:
- It is strongly recommended to use the extension in incognito mode.
- Set an appropriate zip code on Amazon that corresponds to the nation of the marketplace you're using (e.g., a New York zip code for amazon.com, a Rome zip code for Amazon Italy, etc.).
- Wait for all data on the search page to load completely before using functions like "KDP only," "copy all ASIN," and "load recent published data".
- In the extension settings, you can enable or disable on-page functions, modify or reset the product cache settings (recommended to leave at default), and adjust the batch limit.
- If you encounter blocks or limitations from Amazon, it's recommended to reduce the batch limit value, but clear your browser cookies first. This will slow down the extension's operation. The default value (5) should be optimal for most users.
In the extension settings, you can:
- Clear the product cache if you encounter problems with loading and displaying data.
- Enable or disable detailed information on Search Pages and Product Pages.
- Adjust the batch limit to manage data loading speed and avoid Amazon limitations.
The keyword research is automatically performed on the marketplace of the page
you're currently on. There are two modes:
- Expanded Search (Default): This is faster and offers very relevant results, favoring long-tail keywords. It maintains an acceptable ratio of search speed, number of results, and relevance.
- Extended Search: This option is slower but provides more results, focusing more on short-tail keywords. It's designed to find parallel keywords that may be less inherent but still relevant.
On product pages for independently published paperback books, you'll find:
- A section calculating the royalty received for each copy sold, with up to three values: one for black and white coloration, one for standard coloration, and one for premium coloration.
- Since we can't automatically detect the coloration used for printing, users should check personally and consider only the royalty for the coloration used.
- In markets where VAT is applied, it's already deducted from the royalty calculation.
- A "KDP" badge next to the cover for books from independent publishers.
- Publication date information (days since publication).
- Number of reviews and average rating.
When data is loaded using the dedicated "Load Recently Published Data" button:
- Books published recently (within the last 90 days) are displayed.
- The date of the last published book is shown.
- For these recently published books, BSR data (if available) is shown.
- This function helps you understand how many books have been published recently and how well they're selling.
- It provides a count of books published in the last 30 and 90 days.
- The "KDP only" button hides all books on the page that are not identified as independent publisher titles. This allows you to focus solely on books published through Kindle Direct Publishing.
- The "Copy all ASIN" button copies all the ASINs of the products on the page to your clipboard. It sorts them by putting the products with lower BSR at the top, which can be useful for further analysis or comparison.
Updates are released as soon as possible when bugs are found or reported by users.
Bug fixes are prioritized and released quickly. Various improvements are planned
with reduced frequency (as the extension is free). The extension updates
automatically by default unless this setting has been changed in your browser.
Yes, we take data privacy very seriously. The extension does not collect any
personal data, search information, or usage logs. This ensures your privacy and
security while using our tool.
On-page functions are not displayed on pages other than search pages. For example,
they are not shown on category pages. This is not a bug, but a deliberate
development choice to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
Support resources include these FAQ and email support at support@myauthorsuite.com,
available in both Italian and English. We strive to respond to all requests as
quickly as possible, so please be patient. If you encounter problems, you can try
resetting the cache in the extension settings before contacting support.
